The term sheet music means physical or digital notation of music.
A Custom Arrangement License issued by the Tresóna License Exchanges allows the licensed ensemble to create sheet music of a custom arrangement that was created specifically for that ensemble. In essence, it allows the ensemble to create its own sheet music for a version of a musical composition that is tailored to their specific voicing or instrumentation. The terms of the license allow the ensemble to download a copy for each member of the ensemble and use the sheet music of the custom arrangement arrangement for a specific period of time. The license is not transferable to another ensemble. The use of the sheet music embodying the arrangement arrangement does not convey a public performance right, which would most likely be administered by a Performance Rights Organization like ASCAP, BMI, SESAC or GMR.
